Is there any technical difference between boobs and tits? I'm no native speaker, so "rub my boobs" sounds like she actually has some boobs to me (it sounds more "voluminous" to me compared to "tits").

I'm pretty sure originally "boobs" referred to the whole breast (breasts->boobs) while "tits" referred to the nipple (teats->tits), but at this point it's devolved into not making much difference as to which you use.
