Why does it have two DVI plugs plugged in?

It doesn't. It has a DVI and a VGA plugged in. The cord on the left is power. The VGA is her PS3/Xbox 360.

That display has an awful high brightness spec apparantly.

What would happen if the PS3/Xbox 360 and the computer were turned on at the same time? Would the monitor default to the digital signal?

I dunno. It does in my case from the factory, but I can set the preference from the OSD, as well as pick my input at will. Infact, that's close to how I use my PS2.

Oh wow, I just found the "Source" button on my monitor. I had no idea what it did before. Pretty cool.
