I dunno, but I see Kumiko and Reika to be more like soulmates rather than lovers.

Yeah I feel the same as you.

Kumiko and Shuuichi's lovestory just don't seem that interesting. We hardly get a chance to see or know about Shuuichi outside of him being a childhood friend and the whole thing just seems forced and boring. I rather they not focus on their love at all and just stick with the music, since it'll probably go nowhere and just be dragged out and stupid, like the usual love between the MCs from KyoAni's shows.

Now Riko and Gotou's love story, I wish they explore more on. It's not everyday you see a well established love between two people.
