I'd say so yes, parent-child can be a bit annoying to navigate if there are too many pictures. The problem is to come up with a good pool name though, but go ahead if you can think of one.

When making a pool it's always a good idea to also include the name of the artist after the title. And to remove a parent click the edit button in the sidebar of a child post and remove the numbers under "parent", it's as easy as that.
