    Another Spec Ops: The Line / Madoka Magica crossover commission, of the white phosphorus scene. The scene is supposed to be a gut punch to players or something but my reaction was to laugh and laugh and laugh… I’m a terrible person.

    This game was so retarded. I wish the "one world order peace" hipsters would stay out of the military genre if they know nothing about the military. The developers desire to make the military look like a bunch of PTSD lunatics really showed during the last half of the game.

    I would argue that a soldier's job is to protect their country, not just kill shit. After all, that is what separates a person fighting to serve their country and a derange lunatic going shooting everything in sight.

    Although, I guess some might still argue it is the same thing or don't even think of being a soldier as anything but to just get shipped out, kill and die, or if they survive, get paid and do it all over again.

    Well, what would I know.

    Well at the very least that should be a guiding moral and professional principle and it's a notion that I myself hold onto and champion.... that a soldier should hold themselves and be held to more idealistic and benevolent ideals and missions and standards. Of what a soldier could be, and should be.

    Sadly I realize that while in an ideal world this would, could and should be the case, their have been times where it isn't; as soldiers, wither at the behests of their nations, their government or their chain of command or more somberly of their own personal volition: have murdered civilians and their fellow countrymen. And honestly it shouldn't be that way.

    Yet it is.

    Depends on the war. The whole NATO-Russia proxy shit can be debated endlessly, but do you think the Azerbaijanis are defending their country right now?

    As for civilians, the definition gets real blurry when they act as intelligence operators with just a cellphone, or steal equipment, hide saboteurs, transport supplies, etc... There's lots to do in war besides shoot.
