    I'd consider the Gyro Ball not being about Pokemon but about the pitch of the same name and fits the theme of the question far better thus the commentary change

    I'd thought of that too, but I figured it might be a more fannish nuance considering the other entries. I'm not averse to the current take, mind you.

    Admittedly with the Gyroball itself it's got it's own mysterious almost mythical aura about it. Like something out of a video game or anime
