I suppose it would be close but I don't think that's enough to make a direct connection though. Also I'm rather amused that shipgirls love pirate manga.

No matter how many times I read this, I'm still shocked that Ooyodo picked 'Kurohige' Teach for her favorite 'cool character', OF ALL PEOPLE in One Piece series.

I like Teach for that matter but then again there are a bucketload more oyaji characters in One Piece for Ooyodo to ogle at. And they would be better choices than Teach.
