It was whole boiled shrimp in some sort of spicy tare sauce with herbs, tossed in a plastic bag and mixed together.
Since you can't eat it without chopsticks, it's not something you can eat while walking around.
I mean, I just asked the price and didn't say a word about wanting any, but he started throwing it together skillfully, so I couldn't turn it down.
Well, this too is the real thrill of travel. :-)
