In fact despite Shigure doing a Torpedo Cut-in on this goddamn bitch and making her go Heavily Damaged, Myoukou Kai Ni who was next in line attacked the wrong ship with her own torpedo cut-in... FML...
In one dickish move, my dad unplugged the internet router to hard reboot it because he had poor reception of his khmer channels. That was one my E7 killzone, one hour before the armor reset, after I failed to kill AA Hime and realized the foolishness of trying it w/o support exped. I lost 30 minutes because of that.
Also, the reception of daddy's khmer channels didn't get any better. LOL Thanks god I have finished it in the night followed the reset now I regularly send Teruzuki to be taihaed in PvP.

That's just because people are basing her on Akizuki, who is a DD. As far as I'm concern, she can be a CLV or even CAV but it doesn't change the fact that she isn't exactly something that can be taken down with relative ease.

I had this theory. Maybe by the time they attack her, she was like in drydock or something.
But being some abssyal ship, she is not something we will expect to.
I personally called Operation FS Operation Fuck's Sake. Because of all bullshit retreats and off-routing. Not to mention the killfails. The kind of bullshit that had my eyes rolling and go FFS.
This Summer Event is really annoying. Some pro ttks say that Spring Event 2015 is Easy and want a harder challenge. Ok, here's Summer Event 2015, you like it and those ttks say it's hard. Nice way to complain. Still sane here. E-6 Medium is almost done for me. Must finish E-7!

When you enter E-7 boss node AA hime appears and says something as usual and it says "Destroyer" right above her name.
To be honest this summer event is waaaaaay harder than the AL/MI.
The reason being that while AL/MI had you use 3 fleet locks, this event has you use 4 fleet locks. And the return of a ton of previous sanity reducing bosses.

Everyone knows fleet locking and combined fleet are event staples at this point, and have prepared for it. Those who haven't can just go to Easy where no locks exist. Also, E7 only locks ships from E5 which is a very easy event map so the hindrance is pretty small.
The killer is the compass, we haven't had a compass this random for the E-final for at least a year-ish now (started a year ago, didn't do MI and E6 so I don't know about them). And the debuff mechanic makes it a time-trial much like HP regen (though obviously less punishing). And the new Wo Kais are just icing on the really salty cake. Which may or may not have glass shards in it.
You know what make this event the hardest? Not allowing CLT and subs.
I agree with that. Challenging but that's the reason why Abukuma is used. The downside of her is that you need a freaking BP just to get her to Kai Ni.

E7 is everything a sane man hates about KC.
#1: Bullshit RNG compass. There is few branching rules (carrier fleet send you more often east, surface fleet is a guarantee southern trip, Akitsumaru in surface fleet almost send you often to a node instead of the other). And that's the thing, even with some branching rules, you are still subject to the bullshit whims of trolling compass. Survived the first Wo Kai node with no ship taiha-ed? HAHAHAHAH TOO BAD! MEET ISOLATED ISLAND HIME!!!
#2: Trollsubs nodes. Exhaust your fuel some more and CAN taihaed one of your girls. Because reasons!
#3: Bullshit Wo Kai with Glowing Takoyaki of Doom. Bullshit late model DDs that can send you home if your girls failed to sink one before the final torpedo salvo. Bullshit Ne class that can evade your shit like in the Matrix. Also, Bullshit Wo Kai with Glowing Takoyaki of Doom.
#4: The route with a Surface fleet just plain suck. By the time you reach the boss node, you have exhausted your fuel and your girls are sitting ducks. Unless you have a Hayasui in your escort fleet that can refill you before the boss. And even that seems to be subject to a certain % to proc.
#5: The timer for the armor debuff. Because WeAreNotBringingBackBossHPRegenButHereAMechanismThatIsCloseButREallyIsNot! HONEST!
I can deal with having to kill minibosses to weaken the boss. That's something I can welcome. But the combination of #1 and #5? No.
When I finally got Mutsu No Imouto, first thing I wanted to do is to send her to some room where BDSM things happens. But I was too tired and first thing I did in the morning is to send her getting taiha-ed in PvP.
I honestly just stuck with a carrier fleet throughout the whole thing. Yes, planes died, but I'd rather deal with the double Black Wock Shooter that is node M than deal with the BBs that are guaranteed to send me back at node L.
And yet every sane player is well aware that the next big event will take everything they hated about THIS event and turn it up to eleven, along with adding more things to hate.

...Say, was it you the one person whose Shigugu did a Cut-In in the boss with 9 HP for a massive SINGLE POINT DAMAGE on Last Dance?

FS E7 is still more pleasant than AL/MI E6.
E6 had one fleet, so the enemy doesn't get the accuracy reduction they get slapped with when you're in Combined Fleet. Remember the first node Ta Flag during AL/MI E6? If you get Green T-Cross and you don't miraculously hit the Ta, you go home right there. Then there was the CV Hime preboss without combined fleet. And finally boss final form who started the tradition of the two blocker units again you only had one fleet.
And no difficulty selection, you couldn't just default to easy and finish it and still get Isokaze.
The person who taught me how to play KanColle played through AL/MI and got Isokaze, and considers E-7 of the Summer 2015 event on hard mode to be a greater challenge.
Fortunately for people who aren't psycho, E-7 can be played on easy mode. For all the jackass moves pulled by the game designers (and there are quite a few), they at least allow you to lower the difficulty without sacrificing that much of the reward.
And still, even with the option to play on easy mode, as of yesterday only about 20% of players have managed to beat E-7.
