The "curry" side is transparent but not completely white.

Some asian families store medications in the kitchen as the bathroom is considered filthy. (In some asian countries they ARE pretty filthy compared to other countries though).

Most families do that in the US cause it's easier to put it in the cabinet where the kids can't reach.
