Given I have a 6 year old Win7 laptop and an XP Presario from like 2005 that can both see them fine, I don't think we really need to cater to that niche. Plus even when one was requested on the parent a full-size one was posted in the comments, which seems like a fine way to do it to me.

And, yes, this one is much lower resolution than the parent. Because GIFs have such a gigantic filesize, I imagine.

The previous post is actually an ugoira, not a webm. If you have it in your options so images are resized to 850px it'll show it as a webm by default though.

Depends on what you're comparing it to. The webm version on our site has it down to 812kb, but the original is listed at 4.08mb. The gif version that Type-kun made in the comments of the parent post is 5.55mb (1.47mb larger than the original), which imo isn't that gigantic in size.
