Not necessarily, though I had considered that angle. イーヌ is also used as a way of transcribing the ends of some western feminine names, such as Justine or Geraldine. Taken in that context, Futo has tacked a western female name ending onto the phrase よくみればいい to make it sound like a girl's name. Of course, the dog pun could be an additional layer in there. I'll have to consider if there's a way to incorporate it.
