Since this is an edit/photoshopped version of the original art, wouldn't this have to be removed? I only have a little understanding of the removal rules.

It doesn't have to be removed if it's a meaningful and high-quality edit, though adding a train tunnel and a swath of JPEG artifacts doesn't fit that bill in my opinion.
