@soloblast, next time you might want to add some basic tags when you upload images and if you're not sure what tags that you might miss you can add tagme, but try not to just let taggers do all the work.

I do the bare minimum (is it the bare minimum? Rules/Guidelines seem to suggest so), character count / copyright / artists / character names, plus rudimentary translation when I feel up to it, plus pool creation and/or addition where necessary. Usually (usually) I'm uploading in reasonable volumes, enough so that anything beyond the bare minimum becomes a hassle, since I try to get the whole doujin/thing out of the way so that I can move on to translation or something else. Also, since I'm doing this late into the night, I'm usually kind of tired by the time I start working on uploads. Didn't know about the tag request tag, will use it from now on.
But I need to know what passes for the minimum in this community, mostly because no one's told me off for anything regarding this before (other than when I missed out on character counts early on), and whether or not volume is a factor that mitigates these circumstances. Also, whether or not you'd prefer me to prioritise tagging or trying to translate (probably better at the latter, TBH). If you tell me what i need to do, I'll start running things that way in my routine from my next upload onwards.

I'm not trying to blame you or anything, just in case if you misunderstand. However from my understanding of the minimal tagging criteria as shown here, you should add some major body characteristics of the characters in the image, usually the hairstyles, hair and eye colors, and what they're wearing. The tagme tag can be added for other taggers to add in more precise tags, so it's not like you are required to look carefully for every detail in the image, but do add the obvious characteristics you can see. Uploading good images is always appreciated, keep it up. :)

Yeah, I'm probably slightly grumpy due to insomnia amongst other things at the moment. Don't take my defensiveness personally.
Well, in case anyone who writes/edits the Help guides is reading this, someone should probably get the Tagging guide up-to-date with the uploading criteria you linked (or vice versa), because that's what I based my assumptions on, and it seems to draw a line between "Minimal Tagging Criteria" and everything else.
Anyway, I'll make the necessary changes to my routine during my next upload. Thanks.
How do you tie a braid?Don't play with someone else's hair.
