Context is clever in the construction of this picture. Concentrating the light sources on the side of the watching girl as opposed to HUGE MECH IS HUGE is clever, you often fail to acknowledge the girl is there if you don't look for it.
Which has quite a clever effect given the title of this is 'Aggression' and the overall context of war.
The light sources are not concentrated on the side of the watching girl at all, they are quite clearly illuminating the base of the mecha, perhaps to give it a more imposing look. This is accentuated by the darkened upper half of the mech, and the glowing eye in the midst of an otherwise shaded face, which is also partially obscured by a giant weapon. Actually I think the girl is not that noticeable at all.
There are light sources at the bottom of the mecha yes, but I don't seem to as a viewer connect them with the blaze of yellow which is placed behind the background mecha. I always find my eyes drifting to that mass of colour.
