Do calorie mates even taste good? The only thing I have seen that is analogous here in the US are oohrah bars and they are literally just a cookie.
They taste about the same as a vanilla cookie bar. A bit drier and harder to chew too.
Aw. I was looking for something similar to PRIM sandwich (or like a food thing, not a dessert thing). Its like a SPAM can, but there is an entire BLT sandwich inside. Cool but a bit crappy tasting as you would expect. I wish there were more commercial mini MRE options that you could just throw in a small pack or pocket for a compact meal when working long hours or something.
