I thought it was just about forcing her to do shit she didn't want to in order to pay off her 'debts' and then not even bothering to at least compliment her performance. I don't know he didn't seem like the type of guy to just assault a chick like that, even at their worst. I think if anything he just gave her some other sort of reconciliation like a deal to eat all the bauxite she wants or a pat on the head.
