You wouldn't be happy either if your co-workers decided to act like they were hot shit despite not putting in nearly the amount of work you do.
Consider Kongo didnt really nothing of note in the war while Iowa is still combat ready today. Meanwhile Bismarck killed the pride of the Royal Naval in one hit then lead the RN on a merry chase that ended with her sinking herself denying the RN the kill.

I wouldn't really call any of the Iowa's battle ready anymore. The last one, I think Missouri, was decommissioned and turned into a museum ship....what, 5 years ago?

Iowa couldn't sail and fight tomorrow, but is currently being maintained by act of Congress (National Defense Authorization Act 2007) such that she could, possibly, maybe, be recalled. Course, they went and melted down all the gun barrels, soo...
Congress said:
1. Iowa and Wisconsin must not be altered in any way that would impair their military utility; 2. The battleships must be preserved in their present condition through the continued use of cathodic protection, dehumidification systems, and any other preservation methods as needed; 3. Spare parts and unique equipment such as the 16-inch (410 mm) gun barrels and projectiles be preserved in adequate numbers to support Iowa and Wisconsin, if reactivated; 4. The navy must prepare plans for the rapid reactivation of Iowa and Wisconsin should they be returned to the navy in the event of a national emergency.
I thought of the perfect thing for Bismarck to say in this situation: "Das Schlachtschiff Kongou des Admirals ist verärgert" (The Admiral's battleship Kongou is annoyed)

On October 14, 1942, Kongou shelled Henderson to oblivion together with Haruna doing extensive damage, they destroyed 48 aircraft and killed 41 men. But the Americans managed to repair the damage immediately.

She also shot at some DDs off Samar and probably caused most of the damage that caused one to sink, still not exactly setting the world afire. Iowa bombarded allot of places during the war, destroyed plenty of planes, and helped sink Katori so probably about even. Nuking Hood puts Bismark way ahead of either on the 'glory' scale though.

Hey, that DD Kongo hit was Johnston, not some random bitch!
