Oh man. Stuff like this grosses me out. It takes a bit of strategy to win these things, and mental fortitude for sure. I'm more surprised Akagi isn't in this image. Or maybe hot dogs don't have that Alzheimer causing zest she craves.

Rather than an eating contest, it might be commentary on how the Japanese forces during WW2 were criminally under supplied / starving once the USA got into high gear with destroying transport convoys.

Considering the Japanese completely ignored logistics during the war, well it's their own fault there.

Fitting, then: Iowa (the ship) was much thinner than Yamato, since she had to be designed so that she would fit through the Panama Canal.
