TL note: "-ne" (and any other similar denotations, such as "na") at times can be used to denote a "isn't that right" statement when placed at the end of a sentence. This is much more obvious when others respond with the same denotation to answer the first person's statement/question. It may not always apply, but it's something that some people could miss out on if they do not understand the Japanese conversation nuance.
