I've always been curious about this so now I want to ask the question, do women need tissues to masturbate really? Is it a product of male-centric writing much like josei-yaoi often has self-lubricating buttholes, anuses that are placed too close to the testicles, or the mysterious yaoi hole because fujoshi don't really understand the male body and how gay sex works? I am personally a woman and I don't really use tissues, but I would think that even after a heavy masturbation session, at most they would need to change their wet underwear or use tissues to wipe their wet leg, or to clean up a little bit of vaginal fluid that spilled onto the bed? I remember my brother asking in passing implying that women 'use' tissues but my mother told him, 'women don't make the same emissions as men' and I agree that it's often not as thick or sticky. Or is it implying that the masturbation is so sexy, they end up squirting often, something that most women can't easily make happen themselves unless it's with a vibrator as depicted here or do most H-artists just don't have girlfriends? Inquiring minds want to know.

I think it's a bit like all those pictures of girls holding condoms in their mouth while having clearly had unprotected sex with semen flowing out of their vagina: It's just enough of a trope that it serves as a visual cue for "masturbating", even when not really used in the act. Or for that matter, "losing virginity" being depicted with gushing blood from the vagina. (Although hypothetically, it's possible they could be, even if not nearly as universally as depicted.)
... (Also, you're saying your brother asked his sister and mother about how women masturbate?!...)

It was more like he made a passing comment implying that women used tissues to masturbate and she corrected him but yes, my family is weird.
