A master ball can catch the pokeverse god (Arceus), it'll be fine :3
The problem is whether you want to use Cthulhu in your battles. I say it is best to just dump the masterball back into Ry'leh or keep it in the storehouse where we keep the Shining Trapezohedron.
Actually no. That just means Nyarly is going to release Cthulhu from the masterball for shite and giggles.

According to the poster after me a Masterball can pretty much catch everything, but there is no Masterball in Pokemon GO... Yet-

Whip out the Masterball, catch this fucker and put him next to Cthulhu. If The Earth is attacked by aliens or something like that, let them deal with it (since Pokemons didn't rise up against their masters once they were caught, I assume that the pokeballs somehow brainwash them or some shit, IDK).

But can our collective sanity handle TWO cosmic horrors at once?

Aren't the balls supposed to contain their prisoner? And isn't it a reoccurring theme in fiction to put dangerous objects in a holding facility on, say, the moon, an unmanned space station or celestial body?

But we are going to release both Cthulhu and Nyarlathotep at once to deal with other aliens, right?
Fellas, I believe we are overlooking the real problem here.
I don't think anyone can throw a pokeball that far.
Anyone IRL maybe not. Pokeworld? Given the stuff they can lift (including but not limited to a bag containing a one-ton Nebby lifted by a scrawny girl)? Easily.
There is a Lovecraft story where a mad scientist invented a device that allows two dimensions to merge allowing people to see monsters that are normally intangible. I'd be surprised if there isn't a modern version that involved smartphones.
