The approval system is the whole reason danbooru is even a thing. Since quality is so subjective, it makes sense that at least one person who's in the inner circle should "like" it before it becomes approved

Now see, this comment is a slippery slope. Some of the worse stuff could be from older times when the judgement was a little more lax. Supposed "worse stuff" could also have merits in other ways through comedy or ideas or whatever.

End of the day, it'll be approved if a mod thinks it's worth keeping here. Elsewise, it doesn't get through which...doesn't really affect it all that much aside from not being on danbooru really.
