yes they have neck, just not drawn in detail because of ubstruction. you dont draw something that covered by something else. the "fault" also too minor too be problematic and the quality of the artwork is quite high too be unlisted just because of someone complaint about neck.

Not when the neck would be attached to the back of their heads and the heads are both in the focus of this picture (in my opinion) because the characters are showing some emotions. A wrongly placed head due to no neck is pretty bad then^^.

no. the neck isn't attached the the back of their head. you can clearly see the saber neck outline. for irisviel if you assume the whole skin colored portion below the chin is neck, it's still possible if she has boarder shoulder.

and no. the focus isn't only on the head but quite evenly spread throughout the artwork. and even the head is the main focus, the neck isn't. therefore it's just very unjust to calling out an artwork for the neck.
