Well regain your limbs control then.

One point though, the nerve damage 'heals' when he's in Barbatoss, how can that happen? Alaya-something surgery embeds nanomachines that reconstruct the nerve into terminal endings, 'overloading' it by enabling the Gundam accessing his spine-terminal and making the nanomachines rewrite the normal nervous system into those optimalized for MS combat, how is making him using his arm better than spinal reflex-type of control?

It doesn't heal, more like it only comes "online" when he melds with Barbatos. It's probably something like Mikazuki has attuned his brain to the Gundam Frame/Arayashiki system, so much so that it cannot communicate with his right side anymore.

Remember the true form of Arayashiki is to become completely one with the MS, ala Ein in the end game. So I guess the higher the compatibility with the MS, the less compatibility you have with your own organic body.

My guess is the nerve ending running from his right arm up through the spinal node got fried when he went crazy with the Gundam back in Ep25. Therefore, he has to rely on the spinal node (which only activates when he's jacked in) to actually control his arm ever since.

Another hypothesis is that what's wrong is actually that he had a stroke from the data overload, though the damage is contained to the brain responsible for control of his right arm and eye. That means that he's relying on the spinal node (again) to regain those lost functions since they sort of bypass the damaged part of his brain.

Or maybe his whole nervous system has been rewired to accept higher bioelectric voltages to further sync with Barbatos that some parts had become less responsive due to lack of voltage. Which might mean if it ever comes worse, he might be just permanently stuck inside Barbatos or need an external power supply in order to move. Man, sooner or later he might shout a Setsuna.
