It depends on what the tsundere's type/what she wants. Some are dishonest with themselves, and would get angry at the notion she likes the guy. Others, however, are just passive and want the guy to pick up on only the dere side of her mixed messages, and is just waiting on the guy to complete the obstacle course of asking her in a way that won't trigger a fit of violence.
