Not sure what pool (if any) to put this post and its child in. All of Miyako Hito's unsorted 4koma pools are for the original Love Live except for pool #11438, and the comics of that pool are all posted on Pixiv with the title "(character name) Live! Sunshine!! Episode (number of episode containing the scene the 4koma parodies)." This one is titled differently, and isn't parodying a specific scene from the show, so for now I've left it unpooled.
'Ganbaru' and 'funbaru' mean pretty much the same thing in that context, although 'funbaru' has more of a meaning of standing your ground, planting your feet sort of thing. No idea how to translate that without losing the joke, though...
