Roughly; amongst other offenses apparently committed against the native people of what would become England by the Roman occupation forces; Boudicca and her daughters were raped.
This and that ensued, and Boudicca rose up to lead the fight against the Roman occupation. For a short while they were moderately successful; but were eventually crushed decisively by Gaius Suetonius Paulinus in The Battle of Watling Street, somewhere in the Midlands, AD 60-ish.
Boudicca is said to have either poisoned herself, or to have fallen ill and died.
Considering Paulinus troops committed an effective exterminatus against her army, it is unlikely her fate would have been kind if she was taken alive...

being raped isn't the same as being sold at auction.

I am pretty sure that she died but not by her own hand and she was never captured by the enemy. Also, her daughters were raped but she wasn't as that was explicitly said in the records. Instead, she was beaten up by a whip or stick.
This is a picture that disgusts me but I just wanted to make that clear.
