Nothing but a pipe dream. The *Iowas* aren't getting reactivated, it's too expensive and time-consuming. You might as well build brand-new ships in that class instead of trying to rebuild the old battlewagons. Wait, scratch that. "Too expensive" is an understatement. It would be hilariously, prohibitively, outstandingly, destroy-your-budget-ely expensive. The Navy doesn't have hundreds of billions of dollars to spend on two battleships that are filled with obsolete technology, are fuel hungry, and are vulnerable to modern munitions.
