    Really? Have you ever heard of shrugging? You do know your shoulders can rotate up and down.. have you tried it?

    Please, whoever flagged this admit to it. I'd love to take a look through your recent approvals.

    Yes, yes I have. And I simply can't do that. Mostly because her right shoulder's muscle is directly connecting to her neck without any collarbone and the left one, well, it's just extreme asymmetric. And I've to admit after writing this that the real problem is not the left, lower shoulder, but the right shoulder.

    He's clearly just got a false sense of superiority about what he believes is or is not proper anatomy. After reviewing some of his more recent uploads it's clear that he has no actual definition of what is or isn't passable. He uploads stuff like this post #2640855 and then flags this...

    I guess this post is okay (compare photo) ... however, it is clearly not the best display of human anatomy. ^^

    @asferot @Fujishiro

    What is the flagging reason for post #2640855, if I may ask? Bad anatomy? Bad perspective? Body-part? Be more specific! It is not my job to interpret sloppy formulated or unapparent flagging reasons (see forum #127375). Just read howto:flag.

    I see. I also won't bother any further here.

    Regarding the second paragraph: That is a valid flag reason. An explanation would have been nice, and maybe we still receive an explanation, but it is to some extent our job to look at this poor quality.

    Thank you for providing that image. You'd think most people would be able to imagine that pose without needing a photo though. :)

    @Provence

    I'd accept a "poor quality" style flagging reasons for extreme cases like post #1278751 or post #173925. Otherwise it's borderline flag vandalism.

    Ugh.
    Well, I don't know. Off course it would be helpful, but isn't that asking a bit too much? I mean, in this case, we got an explanation, but in general (we have to look at this case), it might be too much. Sometimes you can't really name what bothers you or you aren't good in English and writing flags is complicated).

    Pretty much in line with reiyasona here. To me, "poor quality" only suffices as a flag reason if and only if the quality is blatantly poor at first glance to the average user.

    Anyways, @Provence my larger concern is that you really need to be more careful with what you're flagging. The pose isn't impossible (as others have echoed), it's just part of her shoulder is out of the frame so we can't really tell for sure. But at the very least we can always assume the artist did that pose with the intention to draw it correctly, even if the full image from such a "portrait" crop might not suggest so.

    This conversation has happened a few times over, and I still don't know if this is any tipping point.

    If it is complicated for you maybe don't do it so much? I have only been watching you this past week or so but lots of things I assume you are flagging are not worthy of being flagged. The examples reiyasona posted are good examples of bad quality images. Images like this D.Va one show a very clear effort put forth by the artist. You shouldn't so easily disregard a high quality image just because a small part looks a bit off to you. That's just extreme bias. That's not helping the site that's just abusing your power in my opinion.

    No, because you will always trigger people. Even if the flag comes through.
    I also don't see how I should be more careful, because my recent flag history looks fairly clean :/.

    Sigh... At the very least, I don't think triggering people is the problem. I think it's instead setting a potentially inconsistent standard across the rest of the board.

    The inherent problem with the current flagging system I feel like, is that it's a constant battle to find just the one approver that likes it enough that they can confidently stamp their name on it, rather than a 'vote by consensus' appeal. I would much rather a system of voting to 'keep/delete/NI' than the current system where when a post is flagged, if it's that mediocre enough that no approver likes it, even if the quality is acceptable, it still goes deleted.

    So there's a number of those things too. Contributors sometimes serve as especially bias approvers since we can almost too often apply our own uploading criteria to others' posts, even when they're more than passable. In a way I think it's like a 'pseudo-upload' to some of us.

    EDIT: And at that, it's tiring to keep up with because all I want to do is just keep finding good art. Mod queue isn't exactly the most fun place, but it is something some of us have to do.

    @reiyasona
    And why did you mention me? I did not flag that post...
    If anything I think it was wrongly flagged, because it is not bad quality.
    Did you just see me agreeing with Fujishiro on this picture and assumed that I flagged that one?
