Honestly i always hated her design. It's so stupidly over the top, it stands out compared to every other character, and distracts through the whole game. It's up there, after assassin of black, as the worst designs in the fate universe (before FGO). Both almost ruined their respective series for me.

Agreed. It was kinda hilarious the first few times, but after a while, it just feels wrong. But now at this point I don't care anymore...
This is kinda hard to explain, but basically she, and the other Alter Egos, are mixture of several goddess level servants. IIRC she is Brynhild, Parvati and one more Hindu goddess that I forgot the name.

Brynhild, Parvati, and Durga.
The claws are Durga's ten weapons, reshaped into gigantic claws (ten weapons = ten fingers). Passionlip's Noble Phantasm is her own version of Brynhild's own Noble Phantasm, Bryhild Romantia.

I used to hate this design too, but it's grown on me somehow.
Can someone explain why she became so popular all of a sudden?
F/GO has a crossover event with CCC, and she, along with BB and Meltlilith are added to the game as servants. Obviously, the PV of the crossover has her flinging her boobs.
Besides that, aren't her and Meltlith in some stupidly broken new Class just for them?
Not just them since a new servant came out a few days later that is also an alter ego.
And they're not even that broken. Alter Egos are good classes to use against Riders, Assassins and Casters, making them very helpful to those who hate changing characters or too new to have full sets of servants. They also have no weaknesses, except for berserkers.
However their attacks are resisted against Lancer, Archers ad Sabers which sucks cause they tend to be the bulk of the enemies in the game.
Passionlip is extremely weak in terms of attacks, although she does have good buster card set. Her damage is medium at best since she's only a 4 star. Meltlilith dont have a set of buster cards and is more of a quick yet dont have good star generation. Even at max level she's not that strong and her health is pretty low for a 5 star. If the two had switch stars, then they would have been much more broken.

It's literally a running gag about BB creating Passionlip to have ridiculously large breasts as a joke, so what you complaining?
