I went with the look used in the concept art for her alternatve costume, instead of the usual one. This took a long time to finish and had a lot of problems on the way. It wasn’t easy to deduce what the red part of her outfit poking out from under her gi actually was, so I had to do some detective work. Somewhere long the way I found a long japanese article from a fellow traveller that had spent way more time than is healthy pondering this issue.

On a related note, did you know that the reason why Makoto’s gi is so big is because it’s passed down from her father?
