Carefree, playful, tease-y Kitakami and sharp-eyed, serious, aggressive Ooi always make for an entertaining set.

This is so weird. Usually Ooi would le be fighting over the Admiral or Kitakami. Not the other way around.

Apparently, this was just a teaser to remind you that this story was left abruptly and unfinished, because Kouji's already onto other stories. My last comment on the pool when it was last abandoned 10 months ago was that I'd given up on Kouji ever really finishing a story or even finding good stopping points, and since then I blissfully forgot it was left mid-conversation without conclusion while people kept complaining about how Itchy and Scratchy still haven't gotten to the fireworks factory... and here we are again in the exact same situation yet again...

I'll be uploading that new thing later, but ran out of time yesterday.

The stories are usually finished up in the printed volumes - admittedly there's not a heck of a lot of extra pages, but there's still some semblance of closure at the end. It's just the way that Campus Life operates - as does many other circles. It's just more noticeable here due to the stronger continuity.

Well, I looked, but it wasn't there, yesterday. When I saw art of two other series uploaded, I figured it was another hiatus.

While that certainly applies to plenty of other stuff Kouji does, this is clearly a series that was suspended mid-conversation ten months ago. The last two pages fit together seamlessly with the stuff three or more pages previous in the pool. The same goes for, say, Rappa, who tends to do a series for a month, then suspend it for two or three months while cycling other things he's doing.
