Glutinous rice with fillings wrapped in bamboo leaves, to be exact. I personally like the sweet white variety (usually with red bean paste or peanuts) than the standard salty brown ones though.

I've read that it's easier at high or low tide, but I have no idea if that's true.

The salty brown ones are best if stuffed with bamboo, quail eggs, etc. Red bean paste is great, though...
