I know I'm hammering in the same point as always, but I've gotta say, I really liked Taotie's design here before. Sure, it was kind of basic, but it was still imposing and, above all else, pretty damn cool. But seeing how it just devolved to a vague mass of fur, bandages, and pointy bits was disappointing. I mean, like I said before, the art does get better and more consistent, but there aren't any more monsters. I even skimmed over the rest just to make sure. Although, I do like the design of a certain big bad(?) that turns up later on.
