Élisabeth Báthory is an historical character, she really existed. Carmilla is the MC of a novel of the same name. The author of Carmilla was probably influenced by the story of Élisabeth Báthory but they are distinct enough to be classified as two different character.

In the Fate universe though, they are the same person... sort of. It's complicated. Carmilla is very much the adult Elisabeth Bathory, and cannot stand her younger self- and vice versa.
Carmilla is the EMIYA to Elisabeth's Shirou, basically. They're the same person, only from different points in the timeline.
So, that makes the question the same as "Does having Shirou and EMIYA in the same picture qualify it for the dual_persona tag"? Do we have an answer for that?

The Fate universe itself is sort of complicated. Try not to think about it too hard.

They aren't the same character. Elizabeth Bathory actually existed. But Carmilla is still a literary character, the reason why they can both exist as servants is because of how popular Carmilla's story was.
I thought we agreed that it's still considered as dual persona?
As before, I didn't think so too until I got some explanations (I think we need to give a bit more detail on the tag description so there's no confusion).
