All that's left to test is can Abyssals be 'recycled'? Reiji's issued blades to the girls can harm em n all but converting a humanoid variant will probably lead to unsuspecting shit.

If he would do, he would have done it before, when she still alive as a human

I mean, severed legs can be reattached after being in the water, so at the very least they have the tech for prosthetics, if not complete replacement. It's the hoof part that's the issue; if there's no nerves to control the toes and such, then a leg can't control the toes for balance. If the abyssals just took a body and chopped off the front of the feet to increase dependence on the tail for the Re-Class for the host body, it would make sense for there to be nerves in the legs to attach to, but if it was a premade body, that's an issue with the brain and nerves.
