    Hang in There, Kogasa-san 2462

The place is apparently pretty famous. I hear that if you can finish a 2.6 kg jumbo gyoza (reservation required) by yourself in 60 minutes, you get it for free. :-) However, it seems it's no good if you don't say, "I challenge this," at the appointed time.

"Ultimate Touhou Kamui Fest" is being held today in Otaru. My regards to all the attendees! It's a two-day con!

Six of those might just be enough to satisfy Yuyuko for an hour.

Reader-added tags include "The Yuyuko norm", "If it's Yuyuko-sama, she could finish it off with time to spare", and "Can't see anything but a pillow".

If you can finish this survey in an hour, it's free. (And if you can't, it's free anyway.)

Which shall we challenge? (All are free if you finish them off within 1 hour)
    • Jumbo gyoza
    • 3 jumbo bowls of ramen
    • One shou 1800 cc of fried rice (with soup)
    • 100 gyoza
    • The normal amount is fine

Gonna have a busy weekend, so I may not be able to get to Saturday or Sunday's strips until at least 8 hours after they're posted. If someone wants to jump in sooner, that's fine.

That size can probably feed 2 families worth for a day.

I've seen the jumbo gyoza (yes, the restaurant that Kogasa goes is Kagurazaka-hanten) and it looks pretty heavy. 100 gyoza or the fried rice (if you doesn't have to finish the soup) would be this one's best bet.

So I looked up Gyoza, and as is Google's custom now there are instant answers below the first entry; one such was Are gyoza and dumplings the same thing?, which led to...

Japanese gyoza do have some general, subtle differences from potstickers.

    .

    ... ? WTF's a potsticker ?

    .

    .

    Google's as clear as mud.

I would go for the fried rice, I could eat a bucket full of that.

Chinese dumplings, usually made with pork or chicken and which superficially similar. Usually has green onions as well and a relatively thin skin. Popular in northern Chinese cuisine.

To be specific, "potsticker" is a close translation of the Chinese guotie, which is a pan-fried jiaozi. Yakigyōza in Japanese. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jiaozi#Guotie
