Super late reply but according to those who have played the Chinese version, it seems like the eagle is named after Enterprise's VF-10 squadron, "Grim Reaper".

For some reason, this tidbit has been removed in the Japanese version.

In Eng version, it was called God of Death, yeah, pretty close with Grim Reaper
