Montgomery's Glands, the sebaceous glands in the areola, enlargement of which is not uncommon during sexual arousal and also (presumably subsequent) pregnancy. Basically, they're oil glands whose secretions protect the nipple and surrounding skin, especially during the "wear-and-tear" of breast feeding. Like the nipples themselves, there's a high degree of variability in prominence between individuals. If you're human, regardless of gender, you've got 'em too.
That's right, but I think what he means is that in this picture they seem overly large. Like, really really really large. I've seen these on people, but this is... like, practically nipples themselves.
