oh hi I’m not dead

This is a fun little image I drew for How RBY has changed (or rather, how it was in the first place). Rhydon was commonly used as something that could handle Tauros, arguable the biggest threat in the RBY meta, but since it was discovered that Body Slam cannot paralyze Normal types (because it’s a Normal type move), Rhydon’s viability has thus decreased as it lost one of the ways to deal with it. Alakazam, on the other hand, is still just about as viable as it has been, keeping itself among the top choices for any team.

Even if you don’t care about the topic, I hope the drawing makes for a peculiar scene.
