    同人誌にも書きましたが、前髪ちゃんのコンセプトは「ノーリミット」です。不可能は無い。ブレーキも無い

Tawawa on Monday #169: "On Mother's Day… you should take care of 'Mother', shouldn't you…♡"

From here was when she started her blitzkrieg

I wrote this in my doujinshi, but Maegami-chan's concept is "No Limit". Nothing is impossible. And no brakes either

The text 「母の日は…『母』にサービスしないとね…♡」 says something like, "Since it's Mother's Day, you better take care of 『mother』", as she presses her abdomen to his ear.

So, she's clearly implying that she's pregnant... but she may just be teasing him, as usual.

Apparently she planned this from here then this happened and now this.

    Meanwhile there's a ring ...

Considering how she's been aiming for getting pregnant in previous images (post #2973364 and post #3017549 being the most direct about it, and post #2867369 leaning in that general direction) it could very well be actual pregnancy.

    Big if true.
If not, she'll try to make a Pre-Fathers day for him.

That's why she's the best girl.

I think someone talked about this in another post (I can't remember which), but it does bother me very slightly that this girl's only ambition after high school was to get married to her first love as soon as possible, have children, and become a housewife.

Maybe I'm just a traditionalist. Love is great to be sure, and I'd be happy to see a girl pursuing romance with the man of her dreams, but children and marriage are very powerful decisions to be making in your teens. She's still young and full of life, and she's taking on a serious responsibility without any thought (or I guess it was her only thought). Some might consider her reckless. At least the guy had the tact to avoid a conflict of interests, but I'm pretty sure she would have said yes a long time ago if he let her.

I dunno. it's just a comic, and this sort of thing might be more common in Japan. It just doesn't sit right in my head thinking about it.

From what has been said in previous comics involving Maegami-chan, it is indeed more common in Japan. Truth be told, it's more common than you would think in the United States as well, especially among religious communities.

Actually, if you had read the manga volume that elaborates on her story with her Sensei (Getsuyoubi no Tawawa Sono IV and its follow-up), she hadn't even intended on starting a sexual relationship with Sensei the moment she managed to wrestle a confession from him after her graduation (he got fed up with all the teasing she subjected him to over the past months/years and took the initiative; her reaction is "Eeeh?! My heart isn't ready yet!! At least let me prepare my heart!!"), and afterwards she even emphasizes that although she doesn't mind that he forgot to put a condom on, he should make sure he doesn't repeat the same mistake in the future (i.e. no desire to get pregnant ASAP).

Quite interesting. It seems she still cast out those reservations and had a ready interest in family as soon as she got her diploma and started dating her teacher. I'm still not quite satisfied with the thought of it.

However, like has been pointed out again, there are cultural factors in play, so I'm probably just not getting it since I've never lived in Japan. There are probably socioeconomic factors too that make it financially and socially more appealing for Japanese women to do that.

It just seems like it'd be so boring for her though. Is that really all there is left for Maegami-Chan?

If all goes well, she'll tackle motherhood with the same intensity and passion that she tackles wifehood (well, obviously not exactly the same kind of passion, one hopes). The biggest risk there is that she'll be a helicopter mom.

If it's the exact same kind of passion as she approaches wifehood with, then she'd clearly be a descendant of Fate Minamoto no Raikou.

Wait, where was this? I don't remember that.

Edit: Looks like +alpha was also translated, and I missed it.

Having read Sono IV and +alpha... she deserves this, I would say. It's good to see her happy!

(Also, amazing how much more characterization those short stories give these characters, in addition to the nuance Himura already gives them with the silent panels.)
