Naming it E-sport alone is a mistake. 'A multiplayer video game played competitively for spectators, typically by professional gamers.' There's nothing to defend there. Honor? Prestige? Winning that does not make you a national hero. Winning that does not mean people will respect you nor will tell your story for years to come-because games comes and go with the times. Sports? It has evolved with us humans, and refined by each generation. Look at difference between the Olympics World Records 20, 30 years ago and with the latest ones: it steadily improves, because human continued to master the art of that one sport. E-sport? It has been like, what, 18 years since it first started on South Korea? And what has been improved since? Nothing-but the number of idiots that thought watching people play game is interesting to watch.

If you want to watch something, go watch a movie or something.
