Uhh, yah, I've seen The Beach. Multiple times, in fact. It's one of my favorite episodes...but uh, I wasn't getting those vibes from them at all. Then again, I don't wear my yuri goggles for American animation.

i think its more like Ty Lee is super supportive of Azula, so people tend to view that as her being submissive to her, and that since she is so weak Azula would indeed find her more willing to please her... i know its a ridiculous flimsy argument to start yuri-ing up characters but weirder things have happen.
