    Keep in mind, this is a meta commentary. The artist made a post where the character was using broken English, and a viewer pointed out the Engrish of it, so the artist is putting the apology in the mouth of the more sympathetic Friend. The original was deleted, so it's unclear whether the viewer was giving the artist a light ribbing or merciless mocking, but regardless, you're only getting one side of the story, and it's obviously being reframed to be sympathetic. If the artist commentary wasn't so apologetic, I could even believe this was a dramatic over-reaction for comedic effect where the character is earnestly begging forgiveness for something the artist saw as trivial.
