As sad as I am to see him go, this man lived a full life. I don't think he had a single regret in his life and for me that's probably the best life any one person can live.
"It's no fun reading about somebody who's perfect. You wanna read about people you can identify with, because we've all got problems. And if you can create and write about a character who is flawed, but manages to overcome those flaws, then I think that's pretty good" - Stan Lee
On the bright side though, no more of those silly cameos.
They filmed a bunch of them once his health started declining to stick into films as needed. They won' run out for a while.
They've also been using pre-recorded stock cameos for a while, the only MCU films he actually appeared in-shot with a recurring character were the first two Iron Man films, Age of Ultron, Civil War, and Thor Ragnarok, five out of 21, so chances are there won't even be a substantive change as they shift to the pre-recorded stuff.
“I guess one person can make a difference. Nuff said.”
- Stan “The Man” Lee.
You were right, Mr. Lee. Only it was YOU who made a difference in our lives. I hope you are happy with your wife in Heaven along side our Lord and Savior.
