Southern Tamandua-chan borrowing Tiger's "clothes"
A drawing of Southern Tamandua borrowing power.
A nonchalant double meaming(sic) for "power" (ๅจ) and "hunt" (็ฉใ).
ๅจ (authority) and ่กฃ (clothes) are both pronounced i.
ๅใ (borrow) and ็ฉใ (hunt) are both pronounced karu.
The original proverb is tora no i wo karu kitsune ่ใฎๅจใๅใใ็, "a fox borrowing a tiger's authority", i.e. a weakling acting tough because they carry a powerful person's authority.
