In the figurative sense, yes. Anglophones use it that way in language too. That said, since it has caused confusion, I'm thinking about changing the wording (the original Japanese is more explicit anyway).

Also, this page jumps to Chapter 4 (it was previously at the end of Chapter 2), so it might be a bit jarring.

Well if you don't change it people that gets confused will see these comments and understand what it mean, but I can see why you might want to change it.
