I often see in Japanese fanart the carpet not matching the curtains but it's not often that it's the carpet that's blonde while the curtains are black.

Boris seeems to believe that her short blonde hair from BW is her natural one and this one -black- is fake. Considering its incredible growth in just a few years, it makes sense, I assume.
