After the cancellation of Draw Fridays in early 2016 at Funimation, later that year we restarted with "Draw Wednesdays" instead! My first 2 images in this series were drawn traditionally and then coloured digitally before I would do the weekly drawings via digital art and then coloured at a later date.

For week one's theme, we had "Cat," and I had just finished working on subtitling the entirety of the anime "Omamori Himari" (which has a catchy-ass theme song, btw) and so I knew who would be the muse of my first image.
Even though that show is a lot of anime tropes I hate (bishoujo moe art, harem, panty shots), I actually ended up enjoying it a lot all the way to the end. It was very reminiscent of how they handled "Steel Angel Kurumi," and I am Kurumi-Lover, after all. ;) (Wink)
